Nowadays, ARK is launching a new generation of high voltage VDMOS with greatly-improved reliability in the power management market. The breakdown voltage and on resistance of said series of VDMOS products have been further optimized by using the mature high-voltage planar process and the leading layout technology of ARK. In addition, the UIS (Unclamped Inductive Switching) capacity of said high-voltage VDMOS products has been greatly improved.

Taking FTA04N60 (600V/4A, TO-220F) as an example, the UIS avalanche breakdown energy has been enhanced from the original 120mJ to amazing 240mJ (Note: said ＆#118alues of avalanche breakdown energy were 50% of the destruction test ＆#118alues). The greatly-improved performance of UIS will enhance the reliability of devices and systems, and enhance the stability of the system in extreme heat - electric conditions, and effectively improve the customer ＆#118alue.

All series of these VDMOS products have totally passed the UIS test and now they are in the stage of mass production.
